Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by diligently monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business system components. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of essential applications. The position demands continuous vigilance and dynamic problem-solving to maintain system reliability and support business continuity effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ControlM Administration.
- Experience in managing job scheduling, monitoring workflows, and troubleshooting ControlM environments.
- Ability to analyze system logs and identify root causes of failures within ControlM.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting to optimize job scheduling and execution.
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle complex application support scenarios.
- Capability to work with multiple stakeholders to coordinate issue resolution and system updates.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ControlM Administration.
- This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
