Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and define the requirements for software applications. You will engage in designing solutions that align with business processes and application needs, ensuring that the developed software effectively supports organizational goals. Your role includes continuous interaction with various teams to gather insights and refine application designs, contributing to the creation of tailored software that enhances operational efficiency and user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement improvements in software development processes to enhance team productivity and product quality.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding them through technical challenges.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of software solutions with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Strong knowledge of IT service management principles and best practices.
- Experience in customizing and configuring ServiceNow applications to meet specific business requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the ServiceNow platform.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and integration techniques used in ServiceNow development.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
