Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring software applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional software solutions. The workday often includes analyzing existing systems, developing new features, and ensuring that applications operate efficiently and effectively within the intended environment. Continuous refinement and adaptation of software components to align with evolving business objectives are also key aspects of daily responsibilities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software development.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues to maintain application stability.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Standard Edition.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
- Experience with software development lifecycle and version control systems.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and performance tuning techniques.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Java Standard Edition.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
