As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a deep understanding of how to translate business requirements into functional software solutions, ensuring that the applications developed align with organizational goals. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to refine application features and optimize performance, while also adapting to evolving business environments and technological advancements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of customized software solutions that address complex business challenges.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment and clarity in project objectives.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth and team cohesion.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Recruiting.
- Strong experience in configuring and customizing Workday Recruiting modules to meet diverse business requirements.
- Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into technical specifications for application development.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues within Workday Recruiting environments to maintain system integrity and performance.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and best practices.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Workday Recruiting.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
