Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational requirements and translating them into effective software solutions. The workday is often dynamic, involving collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and provide seamless user experiences. Continuous refinement and adaptation of applications to evolving business demands are integral to the role, ensuring that solutions remain relevant and efficient.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of custom software solutions that address complex business challenges.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and success.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance overall team capability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
- Strong expertise in application design and configuration to meet diverse business requirements.
- Experience in integrating enterprise software solutions with existing business processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
- This position is based at our Jaipur office.
- A 15 year full time education is required and Mandatory experience in the primary skill is required. Certification in primary skill is mandatory.
