As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly within larger systems or applications. The role requires continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective software solutions. The work environment is dynamic, often involving iterative development cycles and the application of modern methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products that meet evolving organizational needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core Integrations.
- Experience with integration design patterns and middleware technologies related to Workday environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code tailored to integration requirements.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Workday Core Integrations.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
