Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various business requirements and designing solutions that align with client needs. The role includes coding and testing multiple components of application software, ensuring that the developed features meet quality standards. Throughout the day, there is a focus on maintaining existing systems, implementing enhancements, and collaborating with different stakeholders to deliver effective software solutions. The position requires balancing development tasks with troubleshooting and refining applications to support seamless client operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges within projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align development activities with overall project goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong knowledge of sales and distribution processes within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in customizing and configuring SAP Sales and Distribution modules to meet business requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to order management, pricing, and billing.
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP Sales and Distribution and other SAP modules.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices in application development.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
