Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to align with specific business processes and application requirements. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational needs and translating them into functional software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the applications developed effectively support business objectives while maintaining flexibility for future enhancements. Continuous evaluation and refinement of the applications are integral to delivering high-quality, reliable software that meets evolving demands.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues to ensure smooth operation.
- Document application configurations and development processes to support knowledge sharing and maintenance.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veeva Vault.
- Experience in customizing and configuring Veeva Vault applications to meet business needs.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and application design principles.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and data migration within Veeva Vault environments.
- Competence in troubleshooting and optimizing application performance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Veeva Vault.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
