Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the application meets the desired requirements. The individual acts as the main liaison for the project, overseeing progress, addressing challenges, and driving the team towards successful delivery. The position demands a proactive approach to managing tasks and collaborating across different groups to align efforts and achieve project goals efficiently.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of application development activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and expectations.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency and quality.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Pega Platform.
- Strong knowledge of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
- Experience in configuring and customizing Pega applications to meet business needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the platform.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and working with APIs in the context of Pega applications.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Pega Platform.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
