Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
Must have skills : Microsoft SQL Server
Good to have skills : ASP.NET MVC

Summary:
A skilled SQL Developer responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining robust database solutions with strong expertise in SQL development, performance tuning, stored procedures, ADF workflows, and data modeling best practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views in SQL Server.
Design scalable database schemas, tables, indexes, partitions, and data models.
Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting of SQL queries, long running jobs, and high volume transactions.
Develop ETL/ELT processes using tools such as ADF, Databricks.
Collaborate with application teams to support backend data needs and ensure seamless integration with APIs and services.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems and environments.
Participate in requirement analysis and provide technical feasibility insights for data related features.
Support production releases, monitor database performance, and resolve issues proactively.
Implement data security, indexing strategies, and adherence to compliance standards.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong hands on experience with SQL Server.
Expertise in writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and indexing strategies.
Experience with performance tuning, query plans, deadlock resolution, and execution plan analysis.
Good understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and integration tools like ADF/Databricks.
Strong knowledge of database design, normalization, data modeling, and relational concepts.
Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile ways of working.
Ability to analyze large datasets and support reporting/analytics workloads.
Experience with Azure SQL, or cloud based database platforms.
Experience with performance heavy applications or large scale distributed databases.
Exposure to scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
Understanding of data governance, lineage, and security frameworks.
