Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, code, and enhance various components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions, while also addressing any challenges that arise during the development process. Your role will require you to stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the software solutions you create.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development processes.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP HANA Technical Architecture.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP Monitoring & Tools, SAP HANA DB Administration, SAP BTP Administration.
- Strong understanding of database design and optimization techniques.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and practices.
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and integration techniques.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP HANA Technical Architecture.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
Bachelor s / Master s degree preferably in Engineering or Computer Science, Business Administration from an accredited university
High proficiency in customer communications and presentations is required
High proficiency in SAP Basis consultant role
High proficiency in the SAP product portfolio, offerings and industry solutions.
Good understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies etc.)
Good understanding of operational aspects (Application or Technical) of SAP solutions in a cloud environment.
Good understanding of capabilities of at least one Hyperscaler (AWS MS Azure or GCP)
Ability and willingness to be part of a global team of Cloud Architects
Fluency in English is a must, any other language an asset
Work Experience:
5+ years of customer facing SAP Consulting experience.
5+ years of solution design, enterprise architecture and or SAP implementation.
Experience in a customer facing pre-sales role is an advantage.
Experience with SAP BTP, IaaS Providers (AWS, MS Azure or GCP), SAP Premium Suppliers, SAP RISE and/or data centers is a big advantage.
Cybersecurity & Compliance expertise is an advantage
SAP Application Lifecycle Management and or SAP Operations experience is an advantage
ITSM, Service Design & Delivery experience is an advantage
SAP HANA and S/4 HANA skills are an advantage
