Project Role Description : Designs, builds, tests, and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Can deploy infrastructure and platform environments, creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance.
Must have skills : Microsoft SQL Server Administration, Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform, Microsoft Azure PaaS, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)

Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud-based and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments and develops proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with business needs and continuous evaluation of system performance are also key aspects of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of cloud solutions.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure to maintain high availability and performance.
- Document architecture designs and deployment processes to support knowledge sharing.
- Assist junior team members in understanding cloud platform concepts and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Microsoft Azure PaaS, Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
- Experience with performance tuning and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Ability to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for cloud resource management.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
