Project Role Description : Designs, builds, tests, and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Can deploy infrastructure and platform environments, creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance.
Must have skills : Microsoft Windows Server Administration, Microsoft Azure IaaS
Good to have skills : Linux Operations

Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud-based and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments and develops proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed designs. This position requires a hands-on approach to creating scalable and secure cloud environments that support organizational needs effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of cloud solutions.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Document architecture designs and deployment processes to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in cloud platform tasks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server Administration, Microsoft Azure IaaS.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Linux Operations.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components and their interactions.
- Experience in deploying and managing virtualized environments and cloud services.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud platform deployments.
- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
