Engineering Services Practitioner
Project Role Description : Assist with end-to-end engineering services to develop technical engineering solutions to solve problems and achieve business objectives. Solve engineering problems and achieve business objectives using scientific, socio-economic, technical knowledge and practical experience. Work across structural and stress design, qualification, configuration and technical management.

Summary: Participate in the development of Cabin components including communication with onshore project leader Weekly reporting on achievements, perform planning and introduce improvements Problem solving minded to overcome delays or quality issues Performs static stress analysis or fatigue and damage tolerance analysis of aircraft cabin components using a broad range of Finite Element Modelling, standard hand, legacy and harmonized methods. Investigate the structural integrity of cabin components and give feedback to design in order to develop a lightweight structure which meets all requirements. Develop a broad range of cabin components such as Overhead Storage Compartments, Lining, PSU Rail, Monuments, Seats, etc. Create documentation including all suitable calculations performed in various reports Roles & Responsibilities: Steering and motivation of the local team according to all requirements Problem solving and communication skills need Very good communication skills Experience in Sizing and justification of metallic/Composite primary and secondary aircraft structural components Experience in Sizing and justification of metallic/Composite aircraft cabin components. experience in finite element theory, modelling utilizing Hypermesh, solving using e.g. Nastran and postprocessing Good Knowledge about CFRP manufacturing processes including CFRP analysis skills based on hand cals as well as on FEM Good knowledge of airframe static stress analysis including analytical calculation methods (HSB/Niu/Bruhn) and finite element-based analysis. Stress analysis of Metallic and Composite Aircraft Structural components using FEM, ISAMI and Hand Calculations. Experience in Buckling and Modal Analysis. Experience in engineering tools, (Hypermesh, NASTRAN, PATRAN, MS Office, ISAMI). Experience Sizing/Justification of aircraft components by providing the solution to the problem. Good Knowledge on CATIA and experience in reading assembly drawings Strong Technical Report (Stress Dossier) writing and checking skills. Building, Leading, and guiding the team to execute the tasks. Stress quality check and Delivery responsibility. Training the resources to fill the knowledge gap. Professional & Technical Skills: Overall 9 to 12 years of experience in Aerostructure domain Minimum 9 years of Aerostructure Stress Experience Location: Bangalore Education: BE/M.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering or relevant subject Ability to Guide, work and lead the team. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to increase team efficiency. Ability to liaise and with the teams across the department including Design and Stress. Highly preferred A350/A350F primary and secondary structure experience with good knowledge of Airbus tools and methods. Hypermesh, Nastran/Patran, ISAMI Having VBA/Python programming is an added advantage. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 9 years of experience in Aircraft Structural Analysis. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
