Summary:
In the role of Program or Project Management Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the comprehensive delivery of programs or projects to ensure alignment with business objectives. This includes defining the scope of projects, closely monitoring the progress of deliverables, and maintaining clear and consistent communication with various stakeholders. The role requires balancing multiple priorities, addressing challenges as they arise, and ensuring that all aspects of the program or project are progressing smoothly toward successful completion. Collaboration and coordination across different teams and departments are essential to meet expectations and achieve desired outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution phases to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Facilitate effective communication channels among stakeholders to align goals and resolve conflicts.
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on deliverables.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Service Transition.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Program Project Management.
- Strong capability in coordinating cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Ability to analyze complex project requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
- Experience in managing stakeholder expectations and facilitating decision-making processes.
- Skilled in risk assessment and implementing effective mitigation approaches.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Service Transition.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
