Quality Engineering Lead
Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires overseeing the development of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. This position also involves managing the testing process by defining and implementing key performance metrics, monitoring test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality of the software product. Collaboration and leadership are central to driving continuous improvement and achieving project goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Lead and mentor team members to foster professional growth and enhance team performance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of quality objectives with project goals.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, quality metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing processes and methodologies.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire ClaimCenter QA.
- Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving issues.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter QA.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
