Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to specific organizational needs. This role requires acting as the main liaison for project-related communications, coordinating efforts across various teams, and ensuring that the application solutions align with business objectives. The position demands proactive problem-solving, continuous collaboration, and overseeing the progress of development activities to deliver high-quality software products efficiently and effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of project tasks to ensure timely delivery.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall capabilities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Student Security.
- Strong understanding of Workday application architecture and configuration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within Workday modules.
- Experience in integrating Workday Core HCM with other enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with Workday reporting and analytics tools to support data-driven decisions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
