Project Role Description : Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data standards, facilitate effective data collection, storage, access, and usage; and drive data stewardship initiatives for comprehensive and effective data governance.

Summary:
As a Data Governance Practitioner, a typical day involves establishing and enforcing data governance policies that uphold the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. The role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to define and maintain data standards, ensuring that data collection, storage, access, and usage processes are efficient and compliant. Additionally, the practitioner actively drives data stewardship initiatives, fostering a culture of responsibility and accountability across the organization to support comprehensive and effective data governance frameworks.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and mitigate data governance risks while promoting best practices.
- Facilitate communication and alignment between technical teams and business units to ensure data governance objectives are met.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Collibra Data Governance.
- Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience with data quality management and metadata management.
- Ability to analyze complex data environments and recommend governance improvements.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to data privacy and security.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Collibra Data Governance.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
