Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with stakeholders to understand needs and adapt applications accordingly is a key part of daily activities, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement of the software landscape.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices to optimize application configuration and deployment processes.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of application features with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in BlueYonder Enterprise Supply Planning.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with A&D Aftermarket.
- Strong understanding of enterprise supply chain planning concepts and their application within packaged software solutions.
- Experience working with APIs and low-code platforms to customize and extend application functionality.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to software configuration and system integration.
- Familiarity with software release management and version control processes to maintain system stability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in BlueYonder Enterprise Supply Planning.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
