Custom Software Engineer
Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Mandatory: Resources based out of Bangalore and work from BDC7A with a 5-day WFO requirement every week.
Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Pega Developer with strong hands-on experience in Pega PRPC (v8.x) to support enterprise-scale BPM applications. The ideal candidate should have end-to-end development exposure, strong debugging capability, and experience working in workflows.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable applications using Pega PRPC platform (v8.x)
Work on end-to-end case lifecycle implementation including case types, flows, UI, and integrations
Configure and implement Data Transforms, Activities, Decision Rules (Decision Tables, When rules), Declarative Rules, Data Pages, Report Definitions
Develop and enhance case management workflows and SLAs
Build UI components using Sections, Harness, Flow Actions
Work on REST integrations (Connectors & Services)
Handle production support issues, debugging using Clipboard, Tracer, Live UI, Logs / PLA
Prepare deployment artifacts (Product Rules) and support release activities
Collaborate with BA, QA, and Architects to ensure high-quality delivery
Professional & Technical Skills:
6-8 years IT experience with minimum 4-6 years in Pega PRPC
Strong hands-on experience in Case Management, Rule development, UI design in Pega
Experience with Pega APIs (DX API exposure is a plus), REST integrations
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Experience working in Agile delivery model
Exposure to banking or financial domain preferred
Candidates should have worked on scenarios like Task / workflow management systems, Case routing and validation workflows
Mandatory Pega CSA & CSSA certification.

Experience in Pega migrations / upgrades
Exposure to large-scale enterprise applications
Knowledge of performance tuning and guardrails compliance
Experience with production support environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication with stakeholders
