As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical implementations is a key aspect of the daily routine, along with continuous improvement of existing software to meet evolving business needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Strong experience in designing and developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Ability to optimize report performance and troubleshoot complex reporting issues.
- Familiarity with database concepts, query optimization, and data integration techniques.
- Experience working with agile software development methodologies and modern development frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
