Summary:
As a Technology Consulting Practitioner, a typical day involves providing expert guidance and leadership on critical initiatives throughout the systems development lifecycle. This role requires engaging with various stakeholders to influence and drive high-impact activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The practitioner dedicates time to advising the information technology function, facilitating strategic decisions, and supporting the successful delivery of complex projects. Collaboration and thoughtful problem-solving are central to the daily routine, fostering innovation and continuous improvement within the technology landscape.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Extensive functional experience in end-to-end steel supply chain planning across steelmaking, rolling mills, and dispatch operations.
Strong understanding of production sequencing, capacity constraints, campaign planning, heat/batch lineups, and scheduling dependencies within integrated steel plants.
Proven ability to analyze bottlenecks, optimize throughput, and design planning processes that balance cost, service levels, and operational feasibility.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Experience working closely with plant operations, logistics, procurement, and quality teams to define to-be planning workflows, KPIs, and governance structures.
Ability to translate complex plant realities into structured planning rules, scenarios, and data models for digital planning transformation programs.
Exposure to supply chain planning tools like Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, GEP etc. is preferred

- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Supply Chain Supply Planning.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
