Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and promptly address any disruptions that may impact business continuity, contributing to a reliable and efficient technology environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system processes and workflows to enhance overall team efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding them through complex issues.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and issue resolution.
- Continuously evaluate and implement best practices to support evolving business needs.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Network Infrastructures.
- Strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security principles.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex network-related issues.
- Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Network Infrastructures.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
