As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands setting and maintaining high standards for development practices, ensuring that the software produced is scalable, performs efficiently, and aligns closely with the strategic goals of the organization. Collaboration and leadership are central, as the lead coordinates efforts across multiple teams to drive successful project outcomes while fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to align software architecture with business requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes and product performance.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot, Java, Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable microservices architectures using Spring Boot.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management and deployment on Amazon Web Services platforms.
- Ability to optimize application performance and ensure high availability in distributed systems.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration tools to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
