Summary:
We are looking for a proficient DevOps Engineer with over 8+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft azure, CI-CD pipeline deployment and infrastructure automation. The candidate should have strong experience in managing and deploying Java applications with orchestration platform like Kubernetes, Implementing IaC using Terraform and optimizing build, release and monitoring workflows to ensure secure, scalable and reliable deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelinesusing Azure DevOps (ADO), Jenkins, or GitLab.
specifically looking for a Senior DevOps engineer with substantial experience in Java (Maven) based projects, as well as a strong background in Azure, ADO, and PowerShell.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Design and optimize containerized workload using Docker orchestrated on scalable Kubernetes cluster for efficient deployment and management.
Leverage Terraform and Helm to define, provision version control infrastructure and application deployment via IaC automation.
Manage and monitor Azure resources, including Blob Storage, AKS, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM)templates.
Develop and maintain Shell scripts and PowerShellscripts for automation tasks.
Deploy and troubleshoot Java-based applicationsusing Maven.
Implement and manage certificate-based authentication, including certificate renewal processes.
Handle database backup and restore operations familiarity with Point-in-Time Restore (PITR) is a plus.
Ensure security best practices in CI/CD pipelines, including secrets management and vulnerability scanning.
Perform log management, issue diagnosis, and troubleshooting across environments.
Collaborate with development and QA teams for release planning, deployment coordination, and post-deployment validation.
Maintain documentation for deployment processes, configurations, and recovery procedures.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix commands, Shell scripting, and PowerShell.
Proficient working experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Experience deploying Java applications using Maven.
Solid understanding of Terraform for infrastructure as code.
Familiarity with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
Experience with certificate management and authentication mechanisms.
Knowledge of database operations, including backup/restore and PITR.
Understanding of security aspects in CI/CD and cloud deployments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines within cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems and automated testing frameworks.
- Ability to design and implement scalable software architectures using modern development tools.
- Familiarity with agile software development practices and collaboration tools.
Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104).
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
