Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with contemporary development frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Collaboration with different teams and continuous refinement of software elements to enhance performance and functionality are integral parts of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design and implementation of ADAS feature modules including perception preprocessing object fusion scene interpretation and vehicle control interface layers
2. Conduct architectural analysis for ADAS software components ensuring real time performance latency constraints and ASIL B C D safety compliance
3. Own and manage the ADAS L2 Feature development
4. MIL SIL HIL test environment development including plant model integration vehicle dynamics sensor emulation actuator simulation and scenario replay
5. Design scenario libraries for ADAS feature validation covering nominal ODD boundary condition fault injection and SOTIF challenge scenarios
6. Execute SOTIF performance validation including challenge scenario coverage analysis sensor degradation scenarios and ODD boundary stress testing
7. Drive ADAS technology decisions aligned with SDV evolution including AUTOSAR Adaptive service-oriented architecture and central compute migration
8. Design and develop ADAS features using NVIDIA Qualcomm NXP Renesas and TI
9. Lead root cause analysis for critical software defects and draft and execute corrective and preventive actions
10. Present technical programmer status risk register and architecture decisions to customer leadership and internal senior management
11. Support presales technical efforts including capability demonstrations RFP responses and ADAS solution architecture for new business.
Professional & Technical Skills:
1. Must Have Expert ADAS system engineering expertise with comprehensive ISO 26262 Parts 3 and 4 lifecycle experience for ASIL B C D
2. Must Have Strong system architecture expertise including ADAS sensor topology compute partitioning actuation systems and network communication
3. Must Have Deep functional safety management experience be including safety plan safety case GSN CAE ASIL allocation and confirmation measures
4. Must Have Proven technical leadership of systems engineering teams delivering ADAS system engineering artefacts in engineering services
5. Must Have Expert requirements management across large complex ADAS system hierarchies using DOORS NG Polarion or Code beamer
6. Must Have In depth SOTIF ISO 21448 analysis experience including functional insufficiency identification and validation strategy
7. Must Have Comprehensive ASPICE Level 3 compliance experience across SYS 1 to SYS 5 process areas and audit readiness
8. Good to Have Experience with MBSE SysML Magic Draw and related tools for ADAS system architecture modelling and traceability
9. Good to Have Knowledge of UNECE R152 AEB R157 ALKS and Euro NCAP ADAS test protocol compliance requirements
10. Good to Have Familiarity with formal safety analysis tools including ANSYS Medini analyze PTC Integrity Safety Case or Item Tool Belt
11. Good to Have Exposure to connected ADAS and V2X system architecture including cloud assisted ADAS service integration
12. Good to Understand next generation ADAS EE architecture including centralized compute and zone controller integration for SDV

- The candidate should have minimum six to 10 years of experience in ADAS Automotive Embedded or SDV domain.
