Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and delivering timely solutions to maintain seamless business operations. The position demands continuous monitoring, analysis, and collaboration with different teams to ensure the stability and efficiency of critical software applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system behavior and provide insights for improvements.
- Document findings and resolutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future troubleshooting.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance system reliability.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding them through problem-solving techniques.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues within enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of database interactions and performance optimization in SAP HANA systems.
- Ability to analyze system logs and trace errors to identify root causes effectively.
- Familiarity with software lifecycle management and version control practices.
- Good communication skills to articulate technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
