Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies, collaborating with different teams to understand the root causes, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and providing timely solutions to maintain system stability and performance, thereby supporting business continuity and operational efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues effectively.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and technical knowledge.
- Ensure documentation of incidents and resolutions to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations.
- Strong understanding of access control models, authentication protocols, and authorization mechanisms.
- Experience with incident management and root cause analysis in complex IT environments.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and techniques to detect and resolve operational issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and improvements.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
