What You'll Do
As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will:
- Help design and implement security solutions across cloud environments, primarily AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Monitor, investigate, and support response activities for cloud security incidents
- Partner with Cloud, DevOps, and Application teams to embed security into architecture and deployment processes
- Assess cloud environments for security risks and vulnerabilities, and recommend practical remediation strategies
- Support Identity and Access Management (IAM) implementation and governance initiatives
- Contribute to security standards, policies, and best practices that align with industry and compliance requirements
- Enhance cloud security posture through continuous improvement and automation
- Share knowledge and collaborate with teammates to strengthen cybersecurity capabilities across the organization
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Cloud Security, Managed Cloud Security Services, or Cloud Engineering with a strong security focus
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience or exposure to:
- Kubernetes, Docker, or containerized platforms
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Cloud security architecture and best practices
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Security risk management
- Incident response and security operations
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid work setup
- Must be amenable to a possible shifting schedule
- Work location: Cubao
