Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Infra & DevOps Engineer to support on-premise infrastructure and DevOps operations for OpenText AppWorks BPM environments. The role focuses on maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting infrastructure stability, and enabling application deployments using DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Bitbucket. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in on-prem DevOps environments and exposure to BPM platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of OpenText AppWorks BPM environments
- Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Perform infrastructure support in on-premise environments (non-cloud)
- Manage source control and versioning using Bitbucket
- Develop and maintain scripts using Bash and Windows batch scripting
- Support application deployments and environment setup activities
- Work with MS SQL Server for basic database support and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth releases
- Monitor system performance and assist in incident resolution

Required Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure support roles
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines (mandatory)
- Strong experience in on-prem DevOps environments (non-cloud)
- Experience with OpenText AppWorks BPM infrastructure
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash and Windows batch scripting)
- Experience with Bitbucket for source control management
- Basic SQL knowledge with MS SQL Server experience
- Understanding of Java, JavaScript, and SQL (supporting role usage)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in infrastructure environments
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to IBM Datacap, BPM, Case Manager, BAW, or FileNet
- Understanding of business process management (BPM) concepts
- Experience supporting enterprise workflow or case management systems
- Familiarity with release management and ITIL processes
- Basic knowledge of application monitoring and logging tools
- Exposure to Agile or DevOps delivery methodologies
