THE WORK:

You'll manage end-to-end FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) planning, procurement, and relocation services for assigned projects.
You'll coordinate with Procurement to purchase FF&E using best-value or low-bid public contracting methods.
You'll collaborate with project stakeholders to define scope, budget, schedule, and FF&E requirements.
You'll assess project sites and master plans to understand building layouts and sequencing.
You'll identify, plan, and coordinate swing space needs, including any required setup or construction.
You'll evaluate existing furniture and equipment for reuse or relocation.
You'll develop and validate FF&E budgets at key project milestones.
You'll participate in regular project meetings to ensure accurate specifications, layouts, and inventories.
You'll review design and construction documents to align infrastructure needs with FF&E requirements.
You'll coordinate IT equipment planning, procurement, and installation with technology teams.
You'll track budgets and schedules, applying value engineering to stay within project constraints.
You'll oversee logistics for delivery, installation, moves, and vendor coordination, including asset tagging and surplus disposal.
You'll manage documentation, access, key transfers, and close-out activities for FF&E and relocation services.
You'll provide project status reports and other information as requested to Manager of Relocation Project Management team.
Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

$119,000 - $131,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

4 year College Degree in the areas of Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Construction/Project Management, Planning, Facilities Management or related area required. In lieu of a 4 year College Degree, 8-12 years of relevant experience required.

6-10 years of project management and coordination experience in fields related to Move/Relocation Management, Project Management, Interior Design, Facilities Management, or Coordination/Procurement of Furniture, Fixture and Equipment.

Ability to read architectural and furniture drawings

Knowledge of furniture and equipment specifications and procurement

Flexibility to work at any of the District colleges and site locations

Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software

Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam software

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

Educational and Public Works experience

Procurement, FF&E sourcing or asset management experience

Knowledge/proficiency in AutoCAD software

Proficiency in Visio or Design software

Interior Design Certification CID, CCIDQ

Membership with IIDA, AIA, IFMA, LEED Certified
