What would you do? Manage planning, procurement, distribution and aftermarket service supply chain operations, helping clients realize $5 for every $1 spent on our services Responsible for delivering various Supply Chain initiatives majorly focused on Planning, exception management & inventory management. Implement systems to support the demand and supply planning process by providing planners with automated tools to access and analyze data captured throughout the supply chain.
What are we looking for? • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, or related field • 3–5 years of experience in supply chain management (preferably in demand planning) within Retail, CPG, or similar industries. • Basic understanding of statistical forecasting and demand modeling. • Hands-on experience with planning tools (SAP APO, Kinaxis, O9, etc.). • Ability to collaborate across functions and resolve operational issues. • Solid analytical skills; ability to work with data and generate accurate reports. • Ability to manage tasks and priorities within assigned projects. • Willingness to learn and support process improvements. • Effective communication skills for team interactions. • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. • Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. • Basic knowledge of demand planning concepts. • Strong data analysis and Excel skills. • Preferably to have knowledge on processes like S&OP/IBP & ERP/tools like SAP, Kinaxis,O9 & willingness to learn new planning tools and processes. • Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Roles and Responsibilities: •• Forecast Preparation & Maintenance: Collect, validate, and cleanse historical sales and promotional data from multiple sources. Ensure data accuracy and completeness before uploading into planning systems. Update baseline forecasts in tools like SAP IBP or O9, incorporating short-term adjustments for promotions, seasonality, and market changes under guidance from senior team members. • Data Analysis & Insights: Perform variance analysis between actuals and forecasts to identify gaps and trends. Highlight anomalies and provide preliminary insights for Specialists or Managers to review. Support scenario planning for events such as new product launches, marketing campaigns, or demand surges. • Reporting & Dashboard Management: Generate and refresh weekly/monthly reports and dashboards on key metrics such as forecast accuracy, bias, and inventory KPIs. Use Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to create visualizations that improve stakeholder understanding. Ensure timely distribution and maintain version control for all reports. • Master Data Governance: Maintain and validate planning-related master data (product codes, customer hierarchies, location details) across systems. Proactively identify discrepancies and coordinate corrections to ensure data integrity for accurate planning. • S&OP Cycle Support: Prepare pre-meeting data packs, update scenario models, and track action items from monthly S&OP meetings. Assist in consolidating inputs from Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment of demand plans with business objectives. • Inventory Monitoring & Exception Handling: Monitor inventory levels, safety stock parameters, and service level performance. Identify potential risks such as stock-outs or excess inventory and escalate to Specialists or Managers. Review exception alerts in planning systems, perform initial root-cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions where possible. • Automation & Process Improvement: Support automation initiatives by learning and applying tools like UiPath or Alteryx for repetitive reporting tasks. Contribute ideas for improving data workflows, reducing manual interventions, and enhancing forecast accuracy. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and resolve data discrepancies. Communicate forecast updates and inventory risks clearly to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment. • Learning & Upskilling: Actively participate in training sessions on planning tools, forecasting techniques, and digital supply chain practices.
