What would you do? Improve workforce performance and productivity, boosts business agility, increases revenue and reduces costs Payroll involves managing and overseeing all aspects of the payroll process, from input submission to employee payout, with the goal of ensuring accurate and timely employee and statutory payments. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong stakeholder management Design processes for performing payroll preparation, pay-slip calculation, post-payroll registration (e.g. accounting booking, payments, social security), recurring statutory forms submission.

Roles and Responsibilities: •Operations Management – Payroll Specialist The Payroll Specialist ensures accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing across regions. This role acts as a payroll subject matter expert, overseeing end-to-end payroll inputs, validations, statutory submissions, and reconciliations. The specialist partners closely with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders to maintain payroll data integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Payroll Management • Supervise daily payroll operations across multiple locations or regions • Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with tax laws and reporting requirements (e.g., W-2, T4, ROE) • Validate payroll inputs by reviewing HR data, time management records, and exceptions • Coordinate payroll input collection and system interfaces between HR and payroll platforms • Perform payroll reporting and reconciliations aligned with Finance records • Monitor payroll variances, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions • Maintain employee master data in HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors / myHR) • Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local regulations (e.g., IRS, CRA) • Provide guidance and training to payroll teams on best practices and tools • Support payroll reviews and address employee payroll queries • Demonstrate strong understanding of payroll accounting principles • Use Excel to manage large datasets and financial reports Process Management • Identify and escalate quality or scope risks impacting delivery • Monitor and improve SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs • Create activity plans and schedules • Participate in internal and client meetings Team Development • Ensure adequate staffing and right skill mix in coordination with leadership and recruitment teams • Provide role clarity, performance expectations, career planning, and succession planning • Implement performance measurement and recognition practices • Support onboarding and training across payroll operations, controls, compliance, and BCP • Drive team engagement, retention, and morale • Act as first escalation point for people-related matters in partnership with HR • Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders"
