Summary:
As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are aligned with business objectives. You will engage in problem-solving activities, participate in team meetings, and contribute to the overall success of projects by leveraging your expertise in application development.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Lead the design and development of SAP Spartacus storefronts using Angular.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions using Spartacus and SAP Commerce Cloud best practices.
Manage and mentor a team of frontend developers, ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability.
Collaborate with backend developers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate APIs and services.
Drive best practices in coding, architecture, testing, and deployment.
Troubleshoot and resolve frontend-related issues and bugs.
Stay current with new Spartacus releases and Angular ecosystem trends.
Contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and technical documentation.
Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility of UI components.
Professional & Technical Skills:
8+ years of experience in frontend development with JavaScript/TypeScript.
3+ years of experience with Angular (v10+ preferred).
2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Spartacus.
Proven experience leading a frontend development team or project.
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, RxJS, NgRx, and component-based architecture.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps best practices.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Spartacus Composable Storefront.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
