As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring the smooth operation of applications, and contributing to the overall efficiency of business processes. You will engage in proactive monitoring and analysis, working to enhance system performance and reliability while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements as necessary.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Splunk.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SRE Observability.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Familiarity with incident management and problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience in scripting and automation to streamline processes.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Splunk.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
