Project Role : Application Support Engineer
Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaborating with different teams to ensure smooth operation and minimal disruption. The position demands a dynamic approach to problem-solving, where one investigates complex system behaviors and implements effective solutions to maintain system reliability and performance throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Builds test harness for each use case. Writes integration tests covering all agent-to-MCP paths. Executes iterative testing with 20–30 fault scenarios per use case. Runs performance and load testing. Triages and tracks defects. Coordinates UAT with Jio. Validates TM Forum L4 certification test cases.
Must-Have Skills:
Test automation (Pytest, Playwright) API testing (Postman, REST-assured) Performance testing (Locust, JMeter) Test case design for complex systems Python or Java Bug lifecycle management
Good-to-Have Skills:
AI/ML system testing LLM evaluation frameworks (DeepEval, promptfoo) Chaos engineering Telco system testing TM Forum L4 test case design.
The resource has to visit client office - Navi Mumbai Ghansoli
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system stability and optimize support processes.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Pytest.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve software issues efficiently.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test cases to ensure software quality.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to understand system dependencies and impacts.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques to trace and fix defects.
- Excellent communication skills to document issues and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Pytest.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
