Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers in planning and integrating various disciplines to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards throughout the application lifecycle. The role includes coordinating with different teams to ensure seamless collaboration and applying comprehensive knowledge to develop and implement effective testing strategies. The position requires overseeing the testing process, managing key performance indicators, and ensuring timely resolution of issues to uphold product quality and reliability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among team members to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor project progress and implement improvements to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Katalon Studio and/or Playwright.
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Automated Testing.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.
- Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Ability to analyze test results and identify areas for improvement in quality processes.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Katalon Studio/Playwright.
- This position is based at our Manila office.
- A Katalon/Playwright experienced is required.
