THE WORK:
- You'll own the sector proposal strategy, aligning it to growth priorities and pipeline.
- You'll advise growth, capture, and account leaders on readiness and win strategy.
- You'll provide executive oversight on high-value, high-risk pursuits.
- You'll translate firm growth goals into actionable sector execution plans.
- You'll govern the end-to-end proposal lifecycle across RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
- You'll establish planning discipline, including reviews and decision gates, and drive accountability.
- You'll ensure proposal content, resumes, and project sheets align with client strategy.
- You'll serve as the escalation point for risk, compliance, and resourcing issues.
- You'll build and scale a high-performing, sector-aligned proposal team.
- You'll define roles, operating rhythms, and performance expectations.
- You'll coach team members and build succession within the proposal function.
- You'll align staffing and career pathways with national proposal leadership.
- You'll set and enforce proposal quality, brand, and compliance standards.
- You'll act as a senior liaison across proposal, capture, and sector leadership.
- You'll shape bid/no-bid decisions with clear risk assessments and probability-of-win perspectives.
- You'll drive continuous improvement across processes, tools, and lessons learned.
- You'll own sector proposal planning, forecasting, and prioritization.
- You'll track effort, efficiency, and effectiveness to guide investment decisions.
- You'll ensure compliance with client, firm, and regulatory requirements.
- Remote: This role allows for remote work for the majority of your work hours.
- With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
$150,000 - $170,000 a year
